Private Instruction/Customized Training: A horse and rider moving harmoniously and correctly together are lovely to behold and captivating to experience! We understand that as horse trainers and riding instructors, we have a dual responsibility to teach both horse and rider.

In our instruction, we focus on:

• Helping the rider steadily improve their ability to communicate with the horse horse
• Increase the horse's willingness, understanding and gymnastic readiness to do what is asked of him/her

To achieve these goals we emphasize basic to advanced dressage (derived from the word "training" in French and an equitation art form dating back more than 300 years). Within this context, we:

• Carefully address the skill level of both horse and rider

• Encourage and challenge both horse and rider without pushing either beyond their capabilities

Correctly Trained, Safe, School Horses: For clients who do not own their own horses, CTC offers correctly trained and safe school horses. These horses have been carefully taught and developed to adapt to the skill levels of both the beginning and advanced rider.
